Currently transfers close at 5am on the morning of qualifying (GMT/UMT) and reopen after the race, once I've got the results updated. This is usually within a couple of hours of the race finishing unless I am on holiday or out for the day etc when it could be late on the Sunday evening.
So you cannot make changes to teams from before qualifying until after the race.
I am thinking about changing this due to feedback, so transfers only close for the duration of qualifying (plus or minus half an hour or so) and then open again until the race, when they would close again.
This would obviously affect qualifying so you wouldn't score points for qualifying if you transferred in the driver in pole after qualifying.
I may also start giving points, maybe just 5, for having the driver who sets the fastest lap in the race.
I'd welcome feedback on this subject.

I think the idea of re-opening transfers after quallies detracts away from the excitement of having your team prepared Friday evening and cursing at the TV when when your star man starts from down the pack. Allowing changes after quallies will mean lots of people will amend their team to chase the pole sitter, especially for a team 1,2 i.e Seb and Webber 1,2 people will change their chassis, engine and aero package to pick up multiple points, that will wreck the game for those who like to gamble with and have faith in their chosen team (like me).
on that note, i think capping the transfers per season may be a good idea, to prevent chasing the leader, i.e 20 transfers per season, to be used whenever and wherever you like, but when they are gone, they are gone.
loving the fastest lap bonus.

Interesting ideas, will bear this in mind for next season and probably have a poll. Thanks.
